Accessing CM2.1p1

GFDL CM2.1p1 is available as part of the MOM4p1 project. Here are instructions for accessing it.

1. Register here to obtain an account if you have not already done so.  You need to register with a functional email address. After registering, wait for the email from the server asking to confirm your registration, and do as instructed.

2. Login to your GFDL GForge account. If you have lost your password, please click on the "Lost password" link at the bottom of the login page.

3. Visit the GFDL Gforge project request page to see the list of available projects, and request access to the MOM4p1 project. Fill in your GForge account name.

4. Wait for the email from our server machine to grant the request.

5. Log in to GFDL GForge and navigate to the MOM4p1 project download page. You can also reach this page by browsing the site as follows: When logged in, click "My Stuff". Then click "Projects" which is the last tab on the right. Click on the MOM4p1 project, and then click on "Files" from the project's page.

6. Download the tar file containing the code and test scripts.

7. When you extract the tar file there are shell scripts under directory exp/ that guide you through obtaining the input data for the supported experiments.
