General Information

The 8th International AeroCom Workshop will be hosted by NOAA Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) and Princeton University, New-Jersey (USA). The workshop will take place in the GFDL building located in Forrestal campus (see Travel). The program includes seminars and posters related to aerosol research (see Program). The GFDL Smagorinsky seminar room can accommodate up to 76 seated persons at tables with personal electric outlet (110V). There is wireless connection throughout the building. Rooms at governmental rate have been reserved at the most conveniently located hotel (see Accommodations for reservation at this hotel or for other choices). Princeton Junction is the main train station for Princeton and is located on the North-East corridor with Amtrak trains between Washington D.C. and NY or Boston (see Travel). There is scheduled shuttle services between downtown Princeton and Forrestal campus with stops at some hotels (see Travel) such that you will not need to rent a car.

More than eighty participants from 13 countries have registered to the workshop. We expect an additional dozen participants from GFDL and Princeton U. We have reached room capacity, and REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

GFDL is a Federal laboratory, and only registered participant will be able to enter the building and attend the workshop. On your arrival at GFDL, a badge will be delivered at the front desk upon showing a governmental photo ID.
