Marian B. Westley

Research Interests

Nitrogen cycling in oceanic low-oxygen zones; oceanic low-oxygen zones in a changing climate; sources and sinks of nitrous oxide; climate and ocean policy

Professional Activities

I am a member of NOAA's Climate Board and coordinate development of GFDL's input into NOAA's Strategy Execution and Evaluation process. I also represent NOAA Research in the interagency US delegation to the London Convention on the Prevention of Pollution from the Dumping of Wastes and Other Matter
