NAME
imgsnap - save all or part of the screen in an image file
SYNOPSIS
/usr/sbin/imgsnap [ file ]
DESCRIPTION
imgsnap saves a region of the screen, selected by the user, in an image
file. The user may specify a file name, choose an image file format, and
select either the entire screen, which is the default, or outline a
desired area using the mouse. The imgsnap control panel may be positioned
as desired so as not to appear in the captured image. If it cannot be so
placed, due to the size of the desired capture area, for example, pushing
the Vanish While Saving button, before clicking on Save, will cause the
control panel to disappear until the image is saved. It will then
reappear, and may be positioned as desired.
