This is a basic vertical mixing scheme which calculates Richardson dependent values of mixing coefficients $\kappa_m$ and $\kappa_h$ based on the formulation given in Pacanowski and Philander (1981). This option may be exercised in a 1-D framework. Refer to Section 15.1.6.
