Downscaling Group
Our main goal is to evaluate statistical downscaling methods’ performance characteristics and to share the results so that others can make better informed decisions about the suitability of methods commonly used in applications relevant to decision-making and adaptation planning. Employing a range of experimental designs, our quantitative evaluations generate information of particular value to climate impacts researchers and statistical downscaling method developers.
