I use satellite observations and climate models to study past, present, and future changes in Earth’s energy budget. These energy exchanges are the fundamental driver of climate change. Therefore, my work has extended into a variety climate topics, from radiative effects of greenhouse gases and aerosols to clouds, global precipitation and land-atmosphere interactions.
